What personal data I collect and why
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the website, I collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection and website security.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you are using it. After your comment is approved, your profile picture, if available through Gravatar, may be visible to the public in connection with your comment.
The purpose of processing this information is to allow visitors to participate in discussions, manage comments and prevent spam or abuse.
The legal basis for this processing is my legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website and providing its commenting functionality.
Approved comments and their associated metadata may be retained indefinitely so that follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically.
Contact forms
When you contact me through a contact form on this website, I may collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, company name and the content of your message.

Automated decision-making
I do not use personal data collected through this website for automated decision-making or profiling.
Autodesk App Store applications
My applications published on the Autodesk App Store / Autodesk Design and Make Marketplace do not collect, store, process or transmit personal data.
The applications do not use analytics, advertising, user tracking or third-party data collection services.
Purchases, licenses, entitlements, Autodesk user accounts and related Marketplace services are managed by Autodesk. Any personal data processed by Autodesk in connection with these services is processed independently by Autodesk and is subject to Autodesk's own Privacy Statement and applicable terms.
I do not independently receive or store personal data through my applications for licensing or entitlement purposes.
As my applications do not collect or store personal data, there is no application-specific personal data retention or deletion process.
Data security
I take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
However, no method of transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
